I have a 93 Chevy Caprice Station Wagon. In has a intermitten hesitation problem. Sometimes even stalls. It happens when driving slowly, like in a parking lot where you would be coasting. It really feels like the RPMs drop down and the car is gasping for gasoline then surges making the car almost jump forward. Does this sound like an Idle Air Control Problem. The dealer changed the spark plugs and then the fuel pump and filter. When the car still hesitated the dealer tried to talk me into putting a new engine in the car. I told him that was ridiculous. It drives fine at 65 or even 75mph...just not at 2 mph and it doesn't do it all the time. Any suggestions?
